157 Tons of Subsidized Meat to KJP Holder Distributed

The city administration is providing subsidized meat to Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) holder in the capital. On the first day, it will be opened in all sub-district offices in East Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

The initial phase is focused on elementary school students who have KJP. It will be ongoing on June 27-July 1

Section Head of Economic for City Secretary, Sri Haryati disclosed, meat distribution is supported by mayor until sub-district apparatus to provide a means of sales in the region.

Meat Bazaar Runs Well

Her party has provided 157 tons of meat consisting of 5 tons of chicken meat and 105 tons of beef. For beef, it will be sold at Rp 39 thousand per kg

"While chicken meat, we sell it worth Rp 10 thousand per piece, subsidized by Rp 25 thousand from normal price Rp 35 thousand," she told.

She explains the payment system will use cashless Bank DKI. KJP holder should have a balance at least Rp 20 thousand above the purchase price. For beef, they must have Rp 59 thousand and Rp 30 thousand for chicken meat.

Here are schedule lists of subsidized meat distribution for KJP holder, as follow:

- June 27: 10 sub-district offices (East Jakarta)

- June 28: 8 sub-district offices (West Jakarta)

- June 29: 6 sub-district offices (North Jakarta) 

- June 30: 10 Sub-district offices (South Jakarta)

- July 1   : 8 sub-district offices (Central Jakarta)

It will be held in each sub-district office, except in Cengkareng Sub-district at GOR Cenderawasih, Tambora Sub-district at Persima Football Field, Kebon Jeruk Sub-district at Kebon Jeruk GOR and Johar Baru Sub-district at Johar Baru Urban Village office. The selling itself will open at 8 AM.
